Protecting your personal data matters to me. Your data is therefore processed only on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, Austrian Telecommunications Act — TKG).
This website is largely static and does not collect personal data through forms or a login on the web server itself, unless stated otherwise below.

Hosting

This website is provided through Cloudflare Pages.
The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
The advantage of this provider is fast, secure delivery of content worldwide through a content delivery network (CDN). Website data is loaded from servers close to the visitor, which significantly improves loading times. Use of Cloudflare is therefore based on a legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) (Cloudflare Data Privacy Framework certification, Cloudflare GDPR) and thus provides an adequate level of protection for transfers of personal data. Processing of data in the United States cannot be ruled out, however.

When the website is accessed, technically necessary data (for example IP address, timestamp, user agent, and the page or file requested) may be processed in server log files. This is required to keep the website stable and secure (for example to detect errors or unauthorized access attempts). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). The provider keeps the logs only for as long as necessary (usually a few days) and then deletes or anonymizes them automatically.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for analytics, tracking or marketing. Technically necessary cookies may be set as part of delivery by the hosting provider. They are used only for technical functionality and security.

Fonts

The typeface Source Sans 3 is delivered by this website itself (self-hosted WOFF2 files). Loading the page does not connect to providers such as Google Fonts; no data is transmitted to third parties for this purpose. Contact by email

If you email me, I process the data you send in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in replying). The data is deleted once it is no longer required for that purpose, unless a statutory retention period applies.

This website links, for example, to LinkedIn. When you follow such a link you leave this website; data processing there is governed by the privacy policy of the respective provider.
